Choose OpenIn if

  • You want to route mail links, phone links and files too, not just web links.
  • You need Safari profiles, Focus mode rules or JavaScript.
  • You already pay for Setapp.

Choose Turnout if

  • You only need web links in the right browser or Chrome profile, with little to set up.
  • You want to start free.
  • You sign in to several Slack workspaces and want each sign-in in the matching Chrome profile.
  • Your links arrive wrapped by Slack, Google or Outlook SafeLinks.

Switching from OpenIn

Once Turnout is out, install it, choose it as your default browser when it asks, and recreate your browser rules in Settings › Rules. Keep OpenIn for mail, phone links and files if you use them.

Turnout is coming soon. Join the waiting list and we’ll email you when it’s ready.
